Parents these days are often surprised that children are learning to read, even using the computer, by the time they enter kindergarten. Things sure have changed since we were that age!

Many struggling first and second graders have also struggled in kindergarten. If your child is already struggling with basic skills in preparation for kindergarten or first grade, then his/her academic future will be even more challenging. Addressing needs early is key to maximizing a child's potential and can be immensely satisfying for both children and their parents.

Through directed lessons and hands-on activities, a personal tutor can help prepare your child for a challenging kindergarten or first-grade experience by assessing and strengthening his/her skills in:To enhance reading skills, we use a variety of highly-regarded, research-based and/or multi-sensory techniques to teach phonics, to enhance motivation, and to address individual needs.
For math instruction, a variety of hands-on activities keeps the student's attention and makes learning fun.

Our non-native English speakers love using GenkiEnglish to advance their speaking, reading, and listening skills.

Sessions are 45 minutes in length and can be any frequency desired.
