STUDY SKILLS WORKSHOPS
STAR Tutoring is pleased to offer our skill-building StudySTARS program to students ages 12 and above. Students should bring a planner, homework, and materials as a portion of each session will involve planning/completion of actual assignments.
Sessions are offered one Saturday a month, more depending on interest (4-student minimum). Contact us to reserve your spot; you will be notified and may pre-pay as soon as the minimum is reached.
- Skills assessments
- Goal-setting and scheduling
- Effective study strategies
- Textbook reading skills
- Planning long-term projects
- Test-taking tips
Each session runs for 2 hours and includes healthy snacks.
Please note:You must pre-register/pre-pay at least one week in advance to reserve a seat. The cost is $45 for each 2-hour session.
Individual tutoring is also available in subjects other than Study Skills, as well as in ACT, SAT, and GED test preparation. Rate Chart
